Parade of Homes (TM) Minimize
 Annual Parade of Homes™ 
The TBA Parade of Homes™ is held each spring, and is one of TBA's hallmarks of community involvement.  The Parade is held over two weekends each May, and features homes in Leon, Gadsden, Jefferson, and Wakulla Counties.  Only TBA Builder members may showcase their homes in the Parade.

Parade of Homes™ Kick-Off/Awards Ceremony*

The Parade of Homes™ is the biggest event of the year at TBA, so we like to treat it as such. From the beginning at the Kick-Off Party in January to the Awards Ceremony in May, the festivities never end!

Parade of Homes™ Judging Day*

Usually held the Friday before the first weekend of the Parade, the Parade of Homes™ Judging Day is a day when TBA welcomes many esteemed judges from across the state.

Builders Appreciation Night Minimize
Builder’s Appreciation Night* 
Each year the Tallahassee Builders Association takes a night out in April to show our appreciation to the Builder members.  The party is held at Bob Carnes' Lakeside Retreat, and never fails to bring out TBA members in the hundreds.

Saltwater Fishing Tournament Minimize
Annual Saltwater Fishing Tournament*
Enjoy a day of fishing or a beautiful day in the Gulf at TBA’s annual Saltwater Fishing Tournament.  The tournament is held each July for Builder and Associate members alike to enjoy the camaraderie of a day of fishing and the excitement of the Anglers’ Social the night before.

Green Home Expo Minimize
GREEN HOME EXPO
Each year in October, The Tallahassee Builders Association Green Building Council hosts a Green Home Expo. Products and services which provide solutions to sustainable living are featured. Attendees can learn about everything green – from green collar jobs to building green.  The event is open to the public and free of charge. Last year’s expo featured an ask the expert series featuring discussion on the topics of solar energy, solar hot water heaters, gardening, new construction, remodeling and government incentive programs. The featured speaker was Dr. Jennifer Languell, president, Trifecta Construction Solutions, Fort Myers, FL and star of the Discovery Channel’s environmental series Discovery Project Earth.
 
Also, last year’s expo featured recycling centers: Goodwill accepted computers for recycling and “The Sharing TREE (Teachers Reusing Everything for Education)” accepted recycled materials for use by teachers in the classroom.

Over one hundred TBA members enjoy a day in the sun and a round of golf each year in November at our Annual Golf Tournament.  From prize money for the winning teams, to raffle items, to invaluable networking, this tournament has a lot to offer.

Monthly Meetings Minimize

Monthly General Membership Meetings*

One of the most beneficial events TBA has to offer in terms of networking, is our General Membership Meetings which are held once a month.  These meetings serve as the perfect opportunity to mingle and get to know our TBA members.

 

Monthly Remodelers Council Meetings*

As the largest special-interest group in TBA, the monthly Remodelers Council meetings have a lot to offer.  The purpose of this council is unified representation to serve the professional remodeler and rehabilitator while providing information and educational opportunities.

 

Monthly Green Building Council Meetings*
The Tallahassee Builders Association's Green Building Council is geared towards the education of its members on the basics of green building.  Our meetings are held once a month and cover valuable information on what "green building" really means.

TBA Housing Hall of Fame

The primary purpose of the Tallahassee Builders Association Hall of Fame is to honor men and women who have made significant and lasting contributions to housing in Tallahassee, the building industry, and to the Tallahassee Builders Association (TBA). A secondary purpose of the Housing Hall is to promote a positive image of Tallahassee’s building industry to the general public through increased awareness and education.
